A large group of us had the Black Dragon at the Middle Farm Apple/Cider festival in Lewes back in October last year and it was the stand out favourite. Being Welsh I was quietly proud!

  • Paul Owens says:

Black Dragon is by far the best quality cider on the market – lucky for me 2 pubs nearby stock it but it can be hard to find in South London !

  • Karen says:

What a discovery at the Cheese Festival in Cardiff Castle. I’ve not drunk cider for years yet we’ve not stopped drinking your cider since. Love the Scrumpy boxes from Tescos. We are not far from you, do you have a site shop?

  • Black Dragon is a striking experience – even in Germany, it’s on the run and getting more and more fans. I love it – cheers!

I own and run the UK’s Best Independent Cider and Perry 2011 outlet called The Jug & Bottle in Bubwith, 12 miles south east of York. We sell draught beer and cider into jugs to take away. We have 16-18 ciders and Perry’s on sale at any one time and Gwynt y Ddraig range is becoming a well established and firm favourite of my customers. Black Dragon has taken Weston’s Old Rosie best seller Crown which it’s held for 8 years! It if a fine pint adn certainly my favourite!

  • Martin Hamblin says:

Possibly the best cider I’ve tasted, but why can’t we buy it in sensible sizes? Please can you produce a 5 and/or 10 litre container so we can enjoy at home. 20 litres is far too much to get through in a weekend!

Hopefully you will get this available widely soon. I can’t imagine it spending much time on shelves.

Spent many an hour at Southampton CAMRA festival drinking Gwynt… now I find the local spoons has Black dragon.

    You guys rock.

    seriously

  • Nick Everett says:

I had a pint of this delicious cider at the pen and wig in newport – best ever, did make me feel a bit woozy though as it was at the end of a bit of a sesh

  • Annie says:

Bought some “Black Dragon” at a cider festival recently, for my husband. I’m not a cider drinker, however, Happy to “Share” it. It was the best ever. will definitly buy more.

    • Drew Gronow says:

Hi Annie, many thanks for your kind words. I am very glad to hear that you have enjoyed our black dragon cider and more importantly may now be a convert?
      Cheers

  • Dave Jones says:

Lovely full bodied cider, just had some at Staverton Cider Festival, fuller, rounder than the Fox, stronger tasting but not brashly so considering its strength. Very nice indeed.

  • jimmy shaw says:

Fantastic pint, real fruity taste with i think, a hint of aniseed?
Wetherspoons in Glasgow had it on draught.

  • Black Dragon:) says:

Tasted your “Black Dragon” at the Threadstone “Real Ale & Cider festival” during a visit in London last week.
Being a small scale amateur cidermaker myself, I have to say that the Black Dragon cider is something to be proud of. A very nice and well balanced cider.
